First Day of Spring
Flowers in the garden reminding us that spring is here—a mix of California natives, bulbs, shrubs, herbs and perennials: Gilia ‘tricolor,’ greveillia ‘Moonlight,’ erigeron, heucera maxima, lupine, freesia, parsley.
In My San Diego Garden and Kitchen
Last week we headed to Seattle to visit our son, his wife and our first grandchild, Shiloh James who is now a month old. My three-family winter garden is very productive now so I brought an extra carry-on sized suitcase mostly filled with the garden bounty and a few small gifts.
My Harvest Monday post this week will be photos of the veggies and fruit as I packed them. We shared the salad in the photo above—all from the garden.
