Harvest Monday is San Diego

December 17, 2012

The garden harvest is about lettuce and greens again this week. Though I promised citrus, I didn’t get pictures taken of the tangerines, oranges and limes before they were bagged and sent out with family or taken to work. It was dark when I was writing last night, so no chance for pictures then. We did have the first fresh squeezed orange juice for Sunday breakfast, though I forgot to photograph that as well.

The new frilly mustard is added to a handful of arugula.

Another salad for lunch.

The calendula petals will be in tonight’s salad since I forgot them last night. Am I distracted by the holidays or just distracted?
