Planning A Raised Bed Garden

February 6, 2013

If you’re thinking about making a vegetable garden for the first time, the Internet offers boundless resources.

I like the plans offered by enjoy-your-garden.com. Their bold graphics and simple instructions can get you started.

Two plans are for small gardens (10 x 10) and one is large with space for permanent edibles such as artichokes and rhubarb.

Another resource is Square Foot Gardening (website) and book. Start small and build on your success.

Share in Comments how you made your first garden. What resources were helpful? What advice would you give to a new gardener?
