Happy Valentine's Day

February 14, 2012

There were several dozen strawberry guavas on the tree this weekend. The largest and ripest ones didn’t make it to the photo shoot. Read about why I like strawberry guavas in an earlier blog post.

I snapped this image with my phone camera when I was cleaning up the perennial border over the weekend. Nothing to do with Valentine’s Day but the colors were irresistible, especially the Oxalis ‘Garnet’. I like the two photos together.
