Cutting Celery

November 21, 2013

In the next week you may be prepping celery for the Thanksgiving feast. Don’t toss that lower section of the celery if you live in a mild winter region.

You can grown your own cutting celery. Last year I did it in a container and had cut and come again celery until May. It’s also a cool science experiment with kids even if you don’t plant it outside.

Read my posts from last year: Cut and Come Again Celery

And an update six weeks later when the celery is about 12 inches tall.
